Mercedes Benz Armor Protection for Black Men #hiphop

leave a comment »

When I say protect ya neck, I mean it. Here’s the specs on the Mercedes Benz armored vehicle. This car will protect you from 9 MM and .44 Magnums. This will keep Plaxico and others safe. Do it now. Don’t go to jail. I’m serious.

Mercedes Benz Armored Vehicle E-guard

Mercedes Benz Armored Vehicle E-guard

“A brother of the Mercedes-Benz S Guard, the E Guard class represents itself as very safe, reliable and luxurious armored car which comes fully armored from a production line. The B4 protection level protects passengers from hand guns such as 9mm gun, 0.357 Magnum, 0.44 Magnum with speeds up to 440 m/s.

Production of the model series W 211 started in the year 2002 and continues until today (2007). The E Guard models use 4 types of engine; the E320 and E500 (both of which were released in 2002*), E350 (2005*) and E320 CDI (2006*). Unlike the S 600 Guard class with B6/B7 armoring protection and speed electronically limited to 210 km/h, the E class’ weight is 2580 kgs (see the table below for more details) which makes it possible to reach a maximum speed of 240 km/h which is also electronically limited.

Due to it’s armor weight, the Mercedes-Benz E Guard cars use the Anti-Dive system which prevents the vehicle suspension from deflecting. Such deflects are caused by braking, when the front wheels and wheelbase get put under enormous pressure. Naturally, similar forces develop on the rear wheels and wheelbase during the acceleration process which is why the Anti-Squat system is also used there. Anti-Squat is simply the same system as Anti-Dive, but designed for the rear.”

Why would Lamar Odom marry Khloe Kardashian?

leave a comment »

I mean, what’s the appeal? Ok. She’s relatively unknown other than a reality show. Why would a Los Angeles Lakers World Champion marry someone like Khloe Kardashian? I watched this show this past week and saw singer Omarion pleading with this lady and wanting to shift from being friends for seven years into a relationship. This dude actually seemed hurt that she didn’t want to be more than friends. I asked myself, “Why would someone be that into Khloe Kardashian?”

I then see the news yesterday that NBA Los Angeles Laker and World Champion Lamar Odom has proposed to this chick and they are getting married this upcoming Sunday. I was appalled and could not figure out why. It’s not like Lamar Odom needs hype and needs notoriety the way Omarion does. Omarion’s career is in the dumps. He needed Khloe Kardashian to lift him out of obscurity and make his career pop off again. But Lamar Odom? What does he need Khloe for? I came to the conclusion that he must love her.

They’ve known each other for a month according to reports. Why would you make $10,000,000 per year and marry Khloe Kardashian? What is the appeal? Does Lamar Odom think she has money so therefore she won’t mess up his money when they divorce next year? But wait a minute. Her dad, Robert Kardashian, was a great lawyer who worked on the O.J. Simpson case. I think, had she not been pregnant, Lamar Odom would have been better off marrying this hottie, Kourtney Kardashian.

If Lamar Odom wanted a Kardashian and not go after Reggie Bush’s ex Kim Kardashian, his best pick would have been Kourtney —>>>>. Kourtney is crazy hot and Kim is kind of average. Not that looks are everything but this whole union smells of something more than love to begin with. Just like when Omarion was pushing up like crazy. On TV it seemed as though he was sincere but then it looked much more contrived than anything because he was pushing so hard to get her.

Chiefs Running Back Larry Johnson Suspended for Tweets

leave a comment »

Proving that social media networks can get you fired if you don’t watch what you say, the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs running back, Larry Johnson, has been suspended by the team for tweeting gay slurs and negative comments about his coaching staff. For some strange reason that I cannot understand, people mistakenly believe that Twitter is somehow a closed network and that they are sharing information privately between friends. Epic fail.

What’s the lesson? Stop sharing stuff that would make your employers embarrassed, angry, and get you a one way ticket to the unemployment line. Twitter and Facebook are NOT private networks and you are speaking in a public place. Please start believing it.

Making Athletes Make Money

leave a comment »

Everyone hears about athletes and their super sized contracts. The reality is that athletes more than ever need to focus on earning money off the field, court, or baseball diamond in order to secure their future. This is what we refer to as passive income. Playing sports is considered earned income. This means that you only get paid to play ball.

On top of that, if you get injured, in most cases, you will not get paid. In professional football, you get paid based upon incentives and meeting certain measured accomplishments on the field. If you don’t meet certain on the field goals, you don’t get paid. Athletes and their representatives need to always focus on off the court or off the field money. But how?

Bill Duffy, owner of BDA Sports in Walnut Creek, California, is one of the premiere sports agencies in the NBA. The company has a sports marketing division of their agency that helps athletes earn passive income and get endorsement deals and make other money. BDA does more than just focus on endorsements. They focus on the athletes image to the community and build personal brand awareness of the athlete to consumers and the public.

BDA Sports has an impressive roster of talent that includes the NBA’s best athletes such as Steve Nash, Rajon Rondo, Yao Ming, Greg Oden and others.

Scott Kazmir Hands The ALCS To The New York Yankees

leave a comment »

Looks like the Angels pitcher has cost the LA Angels the entire American League Championship Series with his high lob covering a routine bunt and throw to first base. The young pitcher is fairly untested and obviously was extremely nervous. The throw cost the Angels the entire series as it assured the New York Yankees victory. The World Series starts starts on FOX TV Wednesday October 28, 2009. The series pits last years World Series team Philadelphia Phillies versus the New York Yankees. Final Score was Yankees 5 Angels 2.

LA Angels Scott Kazmir Loses The ALCS

This young pitcher looks like he made one serious costly mistake to lose the series for the Los Angeles Angels. The lob to first base allowed the Yankees to score in the bottom of the 8th inning and proved fateful for the Angels.
